About Song Tea & Ceramics

We source rare tea and handcrafted ceramics of exceptional quality and character. We work directly with producers at origin.

Each year, we assemble a collection of traditional, rare and experimental tea from China and Taiwan. We look for skillfully crafted leaves from clean growing regions – teas with structure, texture, and complexity. More importantly, every tea in the collection needs to be delicious.

Our ceramics come from Taiwan, China and the United States. We collaborate directly with artists, looking for pieces that show mastery of material and technique, and that echo our aesthetic. Each piece is beautiful to look at and wonderful to use.

What a place this is, I always look for tea shops when in SFO, came across this one, and was I glad I did. Such a beautifully done up store, it was love at first sight, they have such an amazing selection of teas that I could spend a couple of hours just understanding them. My queries were so well answered and my doubts cleared about the different teas available. A must visit for every tea lover .

Sincerely the best tea shop in San Francisco. They’re are thoughtful, intentional, and honor quality above all else. The staff and owners were extremely helpful in picking to my tastes (and expanding my palette). We are lucky to have them a city that forces businesses to prioritize quantity over quality!

Beautiful place. The service was stellar. Friendly, passionate, knowledgeable and caring. Store is very clean and airy. The teas are amazing with lots of selection to choose from.

Song Tea and Ceramic was really cute and had a great variety of teas and ceramics. Upon arrival to the shop, we were greeted with samples of oolong tea. I really enjoyed smelling all the teas and we ended up getting the Hello set to try out a red, green, oolong and white tea. The teas make a great gift and definitely recommend this shop for anyone who wants to the try out authentic teas.
